Presenter Spotlight: Mark Ryan

Mark Ryan, MS; ATC/L; CSCS, currently works as the Assistant Minor League Medical Coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Illinois State University and is certified by NATA, NSCA, and ACSM. Mark has over 20 years of experience in athletic training, coaching, group fitness, personal training, and teaching at all levels from fitness enthusiasts to professional athletes.

Mark is looking forward to returning to Arizona and getting out of the Oregon snow! (Snow, Yikes!) "I will try to hike Camelback mountain at sunset. Always beautiful," he says. At the conference, he plans on taking other workouts and learning from the excellent presenters that Janice has brought together. Besides catching up with friends at the conference, he also hopes to catch a DBacks or Suns games!

Prepare yourself for Ryan's session this year. "Read up on shoulder and low back anatomy," he advises. And, of course, "come prepared with an open mind and a willingness to learn just as I hope to learn new things from you."

Be sure to quiz Mark on his knowledge of anatomy and physiology this year... :)

This year Mark will be teaching Do You See What I See? Injury Recognition and Prevention
